Damian Lillard’s absence will be a brief one.
Lillard has been upgraded to probable for Portland’s game on Saturday in San Antonio, and Yahoo’s Shams Charania says he is expected to play. The point guard missed the Trail Blazers’ loss to Houston on Thursday to rest his sprained ankle.
Lillard hurt his ankle in a defeat at Dallas on Tuesday and said he would be “smart” about not pushing himself with the playoffs coming up to avoid making the situation worse.
Portland has a two-game lead over the Jazz for the No. 3 spot in the West with three games remaining.
